Assignments and Classwork

Students can expect to have some form of homework every day. Since the class is being flipped, homework will primarily be in the form of watching a video over the next day’s instructional material and taking notes. I will provide links to prompt notes that students may use for their notes or they can do their own.  Students will complete a Google form after watching the video as a means of checking their understanding on the basic concepts covered in the video.  Your student can expect approximately 30 minutes of homework each evening.  Class time will be used for students to practice the curriculum from the videos, ask questions, and receive individual help. Occasionally classwork not finished in class may be assigned to be completed for homework.   If your student is consistently spending more than 30 minutes on homework, please let me know. Frequent quizzes will be given over the curriculum to assess mastery.

Daily Agendas

I usually post all assignments, videos, projects, quizzes and tests by unit. The daily agenda will show the date assigned along with due dates. Assignments are also categorized as either formative or summative assignments. Links to videos and video checks are also on the daily agenda. The agenda will be organized by six weeks.
